Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, & Gene Sarazen Signed Images
Here we have a trio of images signed by legendary golfers.
Sam Snead has signed this stock photo with 'Best Regards' notation in black ink. Sam Snead was one of the top players in the world for most of four decades. Snead won a record 82 PGA Tour events, including seven majors. He never won the U.S. Open, though he was runner-up four times.
Byron Nelson left his signature on an image cut from a book here in black marker. Nelson was a five time Major champion and in 1945 won an incredible 11 consecutive and 18 overall tournaments on the PGA Tour.
Gene Sarazen also signed an image cut from a book 'Best Wishes, Gene Sarazen 1992' in blue ink. Gene Sarazen left his mark on the game of golf by dominating the field during the 1920s and 1930s, winning seven major championships, and is one of only five golfers to achieve the elusive career Grand Slam.
The Nelson and Sarazen images measure 7 7/8" x 5"
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
