1939 Time Magazine Cover with Johnny Goodman
Offered here is a 1938 Time Weekly magazine featuring Johnny Goodman on the cover. The June 6, 1938 issue of Time Weekly shows Goodman after he won the 1937 U.S. Amateur Championship. Goodman also became the last amateur golfer to win the U.S. Open when he defeated Ralph Gudahl by one stroke at North Shore Country Club in 1933. The pages are not attached to the cover, please see photograph.
