Three Peter Thomson Signed Open Championship Wire Photos
Australian golfer Peter Thomson found his greatest success playing in the Open Championship, which he won five times. Here we have Thomson signed original wire photos from his three consecutive victories in 1954, 1955, and 1956. Thomson is the only golfer to win three consecutive British Opens and also won in 1958 and 1965. Each photo has newspaper details on the back and was signed by Thomson in black marker. The photos have maintained their good condition and measure 8" x 6".
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
