Sam Snead 1984 Memorial Tournament Ltd Ed Porcelain Honoree Plate
This lot features a commemorative plate from the 1984 Memorial Tournament. Each year the Memorial Tournament honors an important figure in golf. Selecting honorees was Nicklaus' idea as a contribution to perpetuating achievements of the games' greatest individuals. Sam Snead was the honoree in 1984, who for 4 decades was a force in the sport, with his record 82 PGA Tour wins, including 7 Majors. The blue and white plate comes in excellent condition and is 8 1/2" in diameter, made in Denmark by B&G Copenhagen Porcelain.
