Tommy Armour 1983 Memorial Tournament Ltd Ed Porcelain Honoree Plate
This lot features a commemorative plate from the 1983 Memorial Tournament. Each year the Memorial Tournament honors an important figure in golf. Selecting honorees was Nicklaus' idea as a contribution to perpetuating achievements of the games' greatest individuals. Tommy Armour was honored in 1983, the "Silver Scot" winning 3 Majors - the 1927 US Open, the 1930 PGA Championship, and the 1931 Open Championship. The blue and white plate comes in excellent condition and is 8 1/2" in diameter, made in Denmark by B&G Copenhagen Porcelain.
