Al Geiberger Signed '59' Logo Golf Ball & 1975 Atlanta Golf Classic Used Scorecard
The first-ever player to shoot 59, for Al Geiberger it came during the second round of the 1977 Memphis Classic at Colonial Country Club. Known as Mr. 59, he had 11 birdies and an eagle on the par-72 course. Here we have a signature golf ball from the 1977 tournament signed by Geiberger along with the "Mr. 59" notation in black marker. Also included is a scorecard from the 1975 Atlanta Golf Classic used and signed by Geiberger.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
