Angel Cabrera Signed April 13, 2009 Augusta Chronicle Newspaper
A great memento from each Masters Tournament is the Monday issue of the Augusta Chronicle. Presented here is the issue from April 13, 2009 and is signed by the winner Angel Cabrera. Cabrera, at age 39, became the first Masters Champion from Argentina or South America. Angel defeated Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell in a playoff to earn his Green Jacket at the 2009 Masters Tournament. Years later he would be in another playoff with Adam Scott, placing 2nd as Scott became the first Australian to win the Masters Tournament. Cabrera also won the 2007 US Open at Oakmont. He is also the first Argentine to win the US Open.
