An item commemorating The Golden Bear and his career accomplishments, a Jack Nicklaus 20 Major Championships portfolio commemorative newspaper is offered in this lot. While we all know that Nicklaus holds the record for his 18 career major championship victories, but like his idol Bobby Jones, Nicklaus believes his two U.S. Amateur titles should count as majors as well. This portfolio showcases each of his 20 major championship wins. The item is in excellent condition and is great for any Nicklaus fan and collector. Outside of those two U.S. Amateur wins mentioned, Nicklaus won the Masters six times (1963, 1965, 1966, 1972, 1975, 1986), the U.S. Open four times (1962, 1967, 1972, 1980), the PGA Championship five times (1963, 1971, 1973, 1975, 1980), and the Open Championship three times (1966, 1970, 1978).
