Jack Jolly Signed Circa 1910 Cabinet Card Photo

Jack Jolly was better known for his golf ball manufacturing than for his actual play. He competed in the US Open several times, his best finish being 13th in 1906. Jolly worked for the Kempshall Golf Ball Company and in 1911 invented the liquid center golf ball. The height of popularity of cabinet cards was from the 1870-1890's with the studios conceiving of themselves as image production facilities, and photography simply the most common and least expensive option for an individual seeking a likeness. This cabinet card measures 6" x 8".
