Offered here is a "Dummy" issue of what would end up being Sports Illustrated Magazine. This copy from 1954 comes with a sales, advertising information packet, noting a tentative release date of August 7th or 14th, 1954. This issue is in excellent condition with vibrant colors throughout. Treasured by golf collectors this seldom seen item receives quarter page coverage on page 75 of McDonough and Georgiady's work GREAT GOLF COLLECTONS OF THE WORLD.
