1930's Miami Biltmore CC Scorecard Signed by Helen Hicks, Opal Hill, Maureen Orcutt & Georgia Coleman Olympic Gold (Tough Sig)
A vintage 1930's Miami Biltmore Country Club scorecard is offered here. Several signatures appear on the scorecard, including Helen Hicks, Opal Hill, Maureen Orcutt and Georgia Coleman. Helen Hicks won the 1937 Women's Western Open, Opal Hill won the Western Open in 1935 and 1936, and Maureen Orcutt came in 2nd place at the 1927 US Women's Amateur Open. These three golf champions are joined by the real star of this foursome, as autographs go, which is Georgia Coleman. This all around athlete was a gold medalist in diving at the 1932 Olympics. Her signature is prized among Olympic collectors with her early passing at the age of 28. She was elected to the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1966. The scorecard shows some discoloration from age, please see photographs for details.
