Offered here is a framed quote by David Forgan on golf. The piece measures 22 1/4" x 25". The quote reads as follows:

David Robertson Forgan was the son of the renowned clubmaker Robert Forgan. David made quite a career for himself in banking, but it would appear golf was in his blood as he won the Western Amateur Open in 1899.
