Penfold Man Copper Color Display - No Markings - 21" Tall
Presented here is a large copper colored Penfold Man display piece. In the 1930's this statue would have been displayed at a pro shop, enticing customers to buy Penfold balls, and would typically have had the phrase "He Played a Penfold" inscribed, the company's motto. The company was founded in 1927 by Albert Ernest Penfold. This example stands 21" tall with a base measuring 6 1/2" x 6 3/4" and is not made of copper, only copper colored.
Please note: Our bidders have spoken, and we have listened to their wishes. With that in mind, this auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, January 28th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period.
Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
