Ben Hogan 1953 Male Athlete of the Year Commemorative Penny Card

Offered here is a 1953 Associated Press card naming Ben Hogan the Male Athlete of the Year. The card shows a smiling Hogan with club in hand, and also a 1953 Wheat Penny. Ben Hogan lived a very long and celebrated life. A life that saw him fight for his country, win the hearts of everyone in America, survive a near fatal car wreck, and come back to dominate the sport of golf that he loved so dearly.
