Augusta National Issued Undated Masters Pickard China Undated Plate - 2015
Plate depicts each of the 18 respective plants or trees which have been installed one for each hole by the course Beautification Committee at the Augusta National site of the Masters Tournament. Plates verso inscription reads:
In 1932, Augusta National Golf Club Beautification Committee proposed concentrating at each hole, a massed profusion of a distinctive variety of trees or plants that bloom through the season. This allowed each of the eighteen golf holes to be recognized and remembered, at least in part, by reason of their surrounding beauty and coloring.
Produced in America by noted china manufacturer Pickard. Exceptional in color and clarity, a true beauty from the Augusta National marketing team. 10 1/4" diameter
Please note: Our bidders have spoken, and we have listened to their wishes. With that in mind, this auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, January 28th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period.
