Jerome D. Travers 1930's Leather Valise and White Shoes
Presented here is a leather bag and white shoes from the 1930's that belonged to Jerome D. Travers. Travers played a large part in the development of golf in America, known as one of the finest amateur golfers of all time after winning the US Amateur four times and the US Open in 1915. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1976. The bag comes in fair condition with tears, please see photographs. A key is included for the lock on the bag, with a tag attached that reads "Jerome's new golf bag."

Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
