Henry Callender Esq. Print - Framed


Here we have a 1916 reproduction of the 1812 mezzotint portrait of Henry Callender by William Ward. Callender was a member of the Society of Golfers at Blackheath. The text at the bottom reads:

"Pub'd July 16, 1812. Printed by I. F. Abbott
Engraved by Wm. Ward, Engraver to their R. H. the Prince Regent & Duke of York.
Henry Callender Esq.
To The Society of Goffers at Blackheath.
This Plate is with just Respect. Dedicated by Their most humble Servant, Wm. Ward." The frame measures 14 3/4" x 19 1/2"
