1967 Ryder Cup Victory Dinner Menu Signed by Both Captains (Hogan & Rees), Teams, Officers & Others - Scarce
From the estate of Leo Fraser- long time golf professional, manager of the Atlantic City Country Club and President of the PGA of America 1969-70 - comes this 1967 Ryder Cup Victory Dinner Menu. It measures 10 1/2" x 16" and per the tradition of the event has been personally signed by all team members as follows:
American Team:
Ben Hogan (Captain), Arnold Palmer, Julius Boros, Billy Casper, Johnny Pott, Bobby Nichols, Gardner Dickinson, Gene Littler, Doug Sanders, Gay Brewer, & Al Geiberger
British Team:
D.J. Rees (Captain), Peter Alliss, Bernard Hunt, Tony Jacklin, Bryan Huggett, Neil Coles, Christy O'Connor, George Will, Malcolm Gregson, Hugh Boyle, & David Thomas

Signatures present from '8-10" in potency with an average of "9". Hobbyists in the advanced reaches of Ryder Cup collecting likely don't have a 1967 Menu of this specie for completeness of attendees, and a finer example will simply never be available.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
