1978 Memorial Tournament Ltd Ed 'A Game of Golf' Francis Ouimet #9/250
Jim Simons won the 1978 Memorial Tournament over Billy Kratzert. Each year the Memorial Tournament honors an important figure in golf. Selecting honorees was Nicklaus' idea as a contribution to perpetuating achievements of the games' greatest individuals. Francis Ouimet was honored in 1978, considered the "father of amateur golf," and having won 3 Major championships (1913 US Open, and 1914 and 1931 US Amateur Opens). Offered here is the limited edition #9/250 book presented at the 1978 Memorial Tournament.
