1915 Burke Northwestern Eagle Deep Groove Baxpin Mashie
William Burke had managed MacGregor's clubmaking for nearly 15 years before branching out on his own in 1910. By the late 1920's and early 1930's they were mass-producing affordable store-brand clubs, particularly the Columbia range. It is easy to overlook the quality and innovation they produced, but the fact that Jock Hutchison used their clubs, and Harry Vardon later gave them his endorsement, speaks volumes. Offered here is a Northwestern Eagle Baxpin mashie in great condition. It measures 37" to the heel and features a deep grooved face.
