Ted Kroll and George May Signed 1956 World Championship of Golf at Tam O'Shanter Trophy Photograph
In the 1940's and 1950's professional golf arena the World Championship of Golf and the All American Open, both hosted by George S. May and held at Tam O'Shanter GC, were the events to play. The two tournaments dwarfed the prize purses of all the other tournaments on the PGA Tour. They were also one of the few showcases for leading international players to compete against the best US professionals. Offered here is an 8" x 10" photograph of Ted Kroll and George May at the 1956 World Championship of Golf. Kroll was the victor in 1956 over Fred Hawkins.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
