Ben Curtis Signed 2003 The Open Championship at Royal St. George's Flag

Ben Curtis became the first debut winner at The Open since Tom Watson in 1975 when he won at Royal St. George's Golf Club in 2003. Curtis finished one stroke ahead of runners-up Vijay Singh and Thomas Bjorn to earn the Claret Jug and his lone major championship. Here he leaves a clean signature in black marker on this 2003 Open Championship at Royal St. George's flag.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, August 12th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow.
