1936 US Open Championship at Baltusrol Program - Tony Manero Winner

Tony Manero barely made it into the 1936 United States Open Championship. He had to enter a playoff among qualifiers to get in. But Manero won the US Open with (at the time) a record low score of 282. Harry Cooper appeared to have the Championship won with a score of 284, two strokes under the record set in 1916 by Chick Evans. Yet Manero's 67 on the final round overtook Cooper by two strokes. (Manero's low mark held for another 12 years until Hogan eclipsed it in 1948). This program comes in great condition, showing some dog earring to the corners.
