Lighthorse Harry Cooper Signed Full Page Letter On 1934 Masters

Harry "Lighthorse" Cooper was an English-American golfer who was considered one of the best to never win a Major tournament, despite winning 31 times on the PGA Tour. After winning the inaugural Los Angeles Open and finishing the final 18 holes in just 2 1/2 hours, sportswriter Damon Runyon dubbed him "Lighthorse Harry" after Lighthorse Harry Lee, a cavalry officer for the Continental Army in the American Revolution (the father of General Robert E. Lee.) This lot contains a signed letter from Harry Cooper regarding the 1934 Masters.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
