1969 Masters Champ George Archer(D-2005) Autographed Grand Slam Ventures Card

As collectors in future years try to assemble autographed cards from the Grand Slam Ventures-Masters of Golf set one that will continue to escalate in difficulty is George Archer. Though he played regularly on the Champions Tour into the 2000's, prior to his passing in 2005, Archer often shied from autograph seekers and when he did sign was good for only one. At that juncture most graphers were adding him to their multi-signed Masters flags leaving a void on the GSV cards. Your opportunity is here to pickup a nice example from the "Tall Cowboy" who signed this card in black sharpie "10 strength of sig". Archer won twelve events on the PGA Tour including one major, the Masters in 1969. This item will come with a certificate of authenticity from Jimmy Spence Authentication.
