2/7/1937 - Sam Snead is depicted lining up a putt at the Crosby Golf Tournament this original Type 1 Associated Press wire photo is a prize from Sam's first full year of professional golf. Detailed original cutlines appear on reverse of image. Some minor creasing and grease pen cropmarks are apparent, as is the norm, with these images used for newspapers of the day.
Session 1: Lots 1-500 will end on 4/11/13 and Session 2 Lots 500+ will end on 4/14/13 with extended bidding to start at 9:00 PM EST for both sessions. In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
