George Bush was one of the early supporters of the first tee and it is shown by his willingness to attend First tee events. Here we have the early beginnings of the first tee with the photo being signed nicely in black sharpie by George Bush. George Herbert Walker Bush served as the 41st President of the United States (1989–93). He had previously served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States (1981–89). He is currently the oldest surviving President. Because autograph was in a dark spot in photo, JSA was inconclusive on this item. Photo comes from personal friend and first tee founding member JD Daniel.
This item comes from the collection of JD Daniel. JD was one of the founding members of The First Tee and part of Arnold Palmer’s “Tour Turf” and Palmer Design. The First Tee is an internationally respected youth organization that promotes life skills & leadership through the game of golf. The Arnold Palmer Design Company has long been regarded as one of the premier companies in the golf course architectural industry.
