Four page (5"W X 8 1/2"L) black and white pairing and starting times sheet for the Saturday final 36 holes of the 1953 U.S. Open. Pairing sheet shows Ben Hogan as the 36 hole leader at 139. He would tee off at 9 am for his third round of play on the way to the '53 Open Championship. His closest competitor after 36 holes was Sam Snead at 141. Snead and Jimmy Demeret would be paired at 10:00 that day in a futile pursuit of "Bantum Ben". Pairing sheet remains in crisp EX condition with only flaw a horizontal crease directly across the center of sheet.
Session 1: Lots 1-500 will end on 4/11/13 and Session 2 Lots 500+ will end on 4/14/13 with extended bidding to start at 9:00 PM EST for both sessions. In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
