1980 The Memorial Tournament Ltd Ed Book Honoring & Dedicated to Byron Nelson #95/300
Byron Nelson was one of golf's greatest legends in 1945 he had the most amazing year of any golfer. He won an 18 PGA tournaments, including the infamous run of eleven in a row, and finished second in seven others. When describing this book and it's contents, the introduction best sums it up, and it is as follows:This book was compiled because Byron Nelson never published an autobiography. It was felt that the material assembled herein would be a special tribute to our 1980 honoree. The contents of this book covers a special article about Byron Nelson by Sarah Pileggi. It contains the newspaper accounts of the five major tournaments he won. Also, his 1945 record of eighteen PGA tournament wins. This included a record of eleven in succession, which probably will never be surpassed

NEW AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 9:00pm ET Sunday, May 23rd. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. The countdown clock will be set for a 30-minute interval. Each lot will have it’s own 30-minute countdown. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
4. All lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 9pm ET
**Once extended bidding starts at 9pm ET, each lot will then begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you**
