1924 Mexico City Country Club Fourth Quarterly Handicap 14 Karat Gold Medal Won by R.R. Billings
With exceptional appeal and rich international content is this 1924 seldom seen Hispanic 14k gold medal from the Mexico City Golf Club. Finely detailed, this medal's frontside features the golf course scene with a mountainous backdrop from behind the MCCC clubhouse arches. A golf bag resting on a chair can be found on the clubhouse porch. Mexico City sits in a valley at 7200 ft. above sea level. R.R. Billings was the deserving recipient of this medal nearly a century ago, as nicely engraved in script on the verso. This medal weighs 10 grams, carrying a gold value of $332 as of 4/19/21. A great opportunity for those with interest in golfing medals, Hispanic golf history, or simply an eye for precious metals.

NEW AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 9:00pm ET Sunday, May 23rd. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. The countdown clock will be set for a 30-minute interval. Each lot will have it’s own 30-minute countdown. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
4. All lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 9pm ET
**Once extended bidding starts at 9pm ET, each lot will then begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you**
