This plate was included in the 1992 release titled, The Golf Legend Collector Plate Series. It is numbered #357 of a Worldwide Edition of 5,000, and captures Gary Player in different stages of his "Grand Slam" career. A personal favorite is Player in his familiar black attire that earned him the nickname, "The Black Knight". NRMt-MT condition.
This item comes from the collection of JD Daniel. JD was one of the founding members of The First Tee and part of Arnold Palmer’s “Tour Turf” and Palmer Design. The First Tee is an internationally respected youth organization that promotes life skills & leadership through the game of golf. The Arnold Palmer Design Company has long been regarded as one of the premier companies in the golf course architectural industry. We have been given the opportunity to auction JD Daniel's entire collection of golf cards, flags, memorabilia, and various other items in this auction.
