If you are a Tiger Woods collector we're betting that this will be the most unique, high end Tiger item that you see this year. The original design from the(Arnold)Palmer Course Design Co.to scale for Tiger Woods personal backyard putting green. How many countless hours did Tiger spend here honing his putting stroke in preperation for his Major wins at the Masters, PGA along with both US and British Opens victories. This layout of the Woods' green, which is now the Bubba Watson green with his purchase of this property in Isleworth from Tiger, measures 15"L X 26"W and has been professionally framed to 21 1/2L X 32 1/2W. An appreciative Tiger has autographed (Signature strength "4 to 5")the upper left hand corner of the layout in black sharpie which reads, "To Tour Turf, Thanks for the green. Tiger Woods". James Spence Authentication has reviewed this item and their letter of authenticity comes with this item. This lot sold originally in an earlier auction, but the bidder had money issues and could not pay for it.
This item comes from the collection of JD Daniel. JD was one of the founding members of The First Tee and part of Arnold Palmer’s “Tour Turf” and Palmer Design. The First Tee is an internationally respected youth organization that promotes life skills & leadership through the game of golf. The Arnold Palmer Design Company has long been regarded as one of the premier companies in the golf course architectural industry. We have been given the opportunity to auction JD Daniel's entire collection of golf cards, flags, memorabilia, and various other items in this auction.
