Cover of golf ball box depicts seven championship medals. Included are three Championships of the 1953 "Hogan Slam"-The Masters, United States Open and The British Open. Hogan would win 5 of the 6 events he entered in the 1953 season, and be recognized as the Associated Press Athlete of the Year. Also depicted is Pinehurst which represents the first solo Championship of Hogan's career at the 1940 North & South Open. Also of note is the Western Open medal an event which Hogan was a repeat winner at. Box remains in excellent condition with some surface wear on each of the exterior corners.
