Housed in its original Dieges & Clust presentation box(which measures 2 1/2 by 4 3/8) is the gold medal Felix Serafin received as Champion golfer in 1948. The 1 X 1 3/8 medal which contains its original clasp is additionally highlighted by a tri-colored (red, white and blue)ribbon which adorns the top of the Champs medal. The medal itself remains vibrante 65 years after presentation and features a raised image of a golfer(resembling Bobby Jones)with laurels at the bottom of the treasure. The reverse of the medal which does show some slight tarnishing is etched with the acheivement "1948 ANTHRACITE OPEN CHAMPION FELIX SERAFIN". Serafin competed on the PGA tour for several years in the 1930's and 40's appearing in the 1937-42 and 46-47 Masters, along with several US Open and PGA Championships. He claimed 4 PGA tour titles in his career.

In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
