2013 Fall Golf Antiques and Collectibles Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/27/2013
At the 1936 Hershey Open the resident golf pro at the course, Henry Picard was not a very good host as he claimed the champions trophy and its corresponding first place check. To make matters worse, he would repeat as champ again in 1937. Offered here is a Contestants badge from the '36 Hershey Open. In excellent condition, with only one significant flaw-a missing pin back. The reverse of pin still retains original manufacturers paper back "L.F. GRAMMEN & SONS ALLENTOWN, PA." Pin has a 1 3/4" diameter.
In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
