This 40 page program from the Anthracite Open belonged to PGA pro Felix Serafin who competed in the 1939 event. That year marked the first year the tournament was under the sponsorship of the PGA Tour. The victory was notched by Henry Picard who won another battle over hot new comer to the tour Sam Snead. Some of the features contained inside the program which remains in Ex-MT condition with staple binding and spine still intact are as follows: Photo of Ed Dudley with captain "Popular Pro @ Philadelphia Country Club". Photo of Felix Serafin with captain "Pro @ Country Club of Scranton one of Golf's longest drivers". Photo Jimmy Thompson. Photo Henry Picard.
