Gary Player Signed Limited Fuchs Print from 1972 PGA at Oakland Hills-
This auction lot comes from the Frank Stranahan collection. Stranahan, known as "Muscles on the PGA Tour", was an established professional who believed and incorporated weight lifting into his training to maximize his performance, when Gary Player arrived on Tour in 1957. Stranahan became a mentor to the young South African, a rising star on the PGA Tour, sharing his weight training practices with Player. The rest is in the history books for Player, who picked up his own nickname "Mr. Fitness", going on to a Hall of Fame career which featured three Masters Championships. Offered here is limited print number 473/600, and has the following written along the top of picture: 'Going for it all - Player wins the PGA at Oakland Hills 1972 by Bernie Fuchs
