1952 San Diego Open(first year) 4th Amateur Detailed Silver Pitcher
In 1952 the San Diego Open was first contested. This event on the PGA tour would be later known as the Andy Williams and is today known as the Farmers Insurance. Played now at Torrey Pines it is a favorite of today's tour stars including Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. This event with such a rich history had Frank Stranahan as a contestant in 1952. He finished as the 4th low gross amateur. Offered in this lot is the detailed etched pitcher he received:

A portion of the Frank Stranahan collection proceeds will be donated to The First Tee of Lake Erie.
