1948 Delaware Open Low Amateur AND Overall Winner's Trophy
Frank Stranahan busted par wide open and made the play-for-money boys take back seat as he shot a four-under-par 138 to win first place overall in the 36 hole event at Rock Manor Golf Club. In winning the 1948 event Stranahan received the 23" tall trophy offered in this lot which carries the following engravings:

Additional measurements on this trophy include a 7" base diameter and 10 1/2" width from handle to handle.The golfer adorning the top of this award is detached from trophy, height would be 30" if reattached
A portion of the Frank Stranahan collection proceeds will be donated to The First Tee of Lake Erie.
