1905 Glasgow Northwestern Golf Club Captains Prize Tree Stump Inkwell 3rd Class Won by C. D. Mottram
This elevated turn-of-the-century golf tournament inkwell trophy features brass ball pen rest and flip top inkwell with original glass insert. An old-time golfer is winding up for a swing of his iron, unfortunately for him, in close proximity to a rather thick tree stump obstacle. The base of of this inkwell is engraved for the award "Glasgow Northwestern Golf Club Meeting, 1905, Captains Prize 3rd Class Won By C.D. Mottram." The stump top opens, revealing the inkwell of this 117 year prize that has remained in very good condition. 6" tall and 8" in length.
