1929 US Amateur Champion Harrison “Jimmy” Johnston Signed & Personalized Photo
Harrison “Jimmy” Johnston won the 1929 US Amateur at Pebble Beach/Del Monte in surprising fashion after Johnny Goodman opened the door by beating medalist, Bobby Jones early in the match play segment of the tournament. This photograph has been inscribed to “Bill” who appears to look a lot like Chick Evans. JSA has examined this photograph and ALOA will accompany this lot. Johnston died in 1969 long before the autograph game took hold. A nice tough signature. Bid now! 5" x 7"
