Lot of 34 Different Past Masters Champions Autographed Golf Balls

In the world of golf autograph collecting there is no more difficult item to get signed by athletes then the golf ball. Some players from their first year on the PGA tour have refused to sign these orbs. Most famous of course for this stance is the most famous player on Tour, Tiger Woods who has been known to turn down even fellow Tour players requests of signed golf balls for their charities. He also declines to sign golf balls for Upper Deck which maintains a memorabilia contract with the four-time Masters champ. With this in mind, the following lot is a very formidable collection containg 34 single signed golf balls from 34 different members of the Green Jacket Club (with either PSA or JSA authentication certs on each item except the Snead). The following Masters champs contained in this lot are as follows: Sarazen, Nelson, Kaiser, Snead, Hogan (Full JSA letter), Burke, Ford, Palmer, Wall, Player, Nicklaus (Full JSA letter), Brewer, Goalby, Archer, Casper, Coody, Aaron, Floyd, Zoeller, Stadler, Crenshaw, Langer, Mize, Lyle, Faldo, Woosnam, Couples, Olazabal, O'Meara, Singh, Weir, Mickelson (very tough, JSA Full letter) and Johnson. As a crowning touch to this lot also included is the signature of Tiger Woods on a 1995 Centennial US Amateur golf ball (JSA Full Letter Cert B43849). This Championship marked the second of three straight Am titles for Tiger. The difficulty factor of the Tiger ball has been seen in the prices realized for these gems as they rose above $5,000 in the rare instances these treasured items have come-up for auction.
