My Twelve Most Difficult Shots Booklet By Bobby Jones
In this hard to find circa 1929 book, Bobby Jones recalls different situations from his career and narrates playing the shots. These include putting in the rain in the 1921 USGA Amateur championship; fighting the wind in the 1920 Western Open; playing the 17th hole at St. Andrews; Lucky shots; Shooting 30 on the second nine at Flossmore in Chicago; overcoming difficulties with the driver; an interesting account of a match in 1926 against Hagen, where Jones learned that hitting your best shot is not always the one to play; approaching difficult greens; controlling your irons in cross winds; losing two strokes to save one; taking your time and not blowing up; and lastly getting out of traps. This book was beautifully produced and features a gilt stamped and tooled leather cover. Gilt edges. 63 pages. Facsimile signature of Jones on the title page. Produced as an advertising item by Brown and Bigelow in St. Paul. Introduction by Grantland Rice. Fine condition., protected over the years by a fitted green felt pouch.

If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!

2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
