Original Colored Pencil Walter Hagen with Major Championships Bag - Signed by Artist Kathy M. Crosse
The late, great Walter Hagen (1892-1969) was the first giant of American golf, capturing a then record 11 Majors and helped raise professional golf to never previously seen levels. Commissioned for The Doug Sanders Museum and completed in colored pencil is this oversize 20" x 30" depiction of Walter Hagen next to his US Open, British Open and PGA Championship major championship dated golf bags. Great detail and coloring depicts The Haig, dressed to the nines as he was known to do. A signed letter of provenance from The Doug Sanders Museum comes with this lot.
