Grand Slam Ventures in 1993 produced a set of 2 1/2 X 4 5/8 cards called the Champions of Golf - The Masters collection. Each of the cards in this original offering featured a black border card with a gold foil stripe at the bottom of the card. Depicted on the individual cards were each of the Masters champions from 1934-1993, often in one of their memorable moments from the victory. The first year's cards came individually packaged in a plastic sleeve attached to a green 9 1/2 X 9 cardboard page that detailed each year of the Masters.This high-quality presntation was then placed in a deluxe three ring binder which was further preserved in a heavy duty black box. Each original owner of this set was contacted in 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997 to purchase that year's newest Masters winner in an identical black border card with gold foil format on green cardboard page as came in their original order. This process produced the much talked about Tiger gold foil card. Offered here is that complete 1934-97 set of Masters champions on green cardboard pages with deluxe binder and original black packing box. The Tiger Woods card remains in it's original issuing condition, and certainly suitable for grading if that is your desire. In addition to the Tiger card which is unsigned, there are 40 cards which have been signed in either ballpoint ink or Sharpie by the depicted Champions. Picard (light sig, but very tough). The cards with signatures would average Ex-Mt due to handling by collector and athlete alike.
