Peter Thomson Signed 1965 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale Program
Peter Thomson won his fifth Claret Jug at the 1965 Open Championship, and here is a program from the tournament at Royal Birkdale. Program is in NR-MT condition. Thomson had an incredible run at the Open Championship, becoming the only golfer to win the tournament for three consecutive years in the 20th century. Thomson left his signature here in black marker on the front cover.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
