Peter Thomson Signed 8x10 Post-Swing Photo
World Golf Hall of Famer who ditinguished himself in the British Open, winning in 1954, 55, 56, 58, 65 and runner-up in 1952, 57. Thomson's five British Open victories put him in a niche with J.H. Taylor and James Braid, one behind Harry Vardon. Thomson was an obvious choice for team captain of the International team in the first Presidents Cup match. Well inked signature presents well against the background of this 8x10 photo.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
