In reviewing the careers of Bobby Jones, Walter Hagen, Ralph Guldahl and Raymond Floyd three common threads emerge from each of their star-studded careers. They each played on at least one Ryder Cup team. They each won the toughest challenge in golf, the U.S. Open. And finally their careers were so distinguished that they were elected into the Golf Hall of Fame. Offered here are graphite pencil signatures of each of the four Hall of Famers on the back of a post card. Gudahl (d-1987) won three Majors including the 1939 Masters. Hagan (d-1969) won 11 Majors. Jones (d-1971) retired after his Grand Slam season in 1930 as King of his Sport. Floyd who excelled at the Majors winning the PGA in 1969 and 1982, the Masters in 1976 and his US Open victory in 1986. In addition to the four signatures on the back of the post card there is also a fifth autograph another vintage pencil autograph of Bobby Jones on the front of the black and white postcard (which is titled A Christamas Greeting). If the purchaser wished this signature could be cut at no harm to either the Jones or Hagen signatures on the back of the card, but this would interfere with the Floyd and Guldahl autographs.
