Ray Floyd's 1994 Masters Tournament Hole No. 2 Steuben Crystal Eagle Glass

Along with other traditions such as the Crystal Vase for the low score of the day, Hole-In-One, and a Double Eagle; the Steuben Crystal Highball Glasses are given to a competitor who succeeds in scoring an eagle on any one of the holes at Augusta National during the Masters Tournament. This tradition dates to the 1954 tournament, when the Augusta National presented these glasses of achievement for the first time. Over The Golf Auction's 10 plus years of business we have only had a handful of these highly collectible awards. Offered here for consideration is Ray Floyd's crystal highball glass in near mint condition, with all etchings on glass well preserved, in similar fashion to the day it was presented at the 1994 Tournament. The 1976 Masters champion Ray Floyd made an eagle in '94 on Amen Corner's 2nd hole Pink Dogwood at Augusta during tournament play that week. It measures approximately 6 1/2" tall. A signed letter of provenance from The Ray Floyd Collection will come with this lot.
