Slammin Sam Snead, left prospective navy recruit and corporal Jim Turnesa are shown holding the P.G.A. trophy that they are fighting for in the finals of the P.G.A tournament at the Seaview Country Club today. Slammin Sam gained the final round by defeating Jimmy Demaret while Turnesa, who was two down on Byron Nelson with but two holes to go put on a grand slam finish to defeat Byron 3 and 2
